H.RES. 220
National Animal Rescue Day

House Resolution 220 expresses support for the designation of a National Animal Rescue Day to create awareness for animal rescue programs, address overpopulation through continued spaying and neutering of adopted pets, to educate, and bring Americans together to support this common goal.

According to the U.S. Human Society, between 6 and 8 million cats and dogs are put into shelters every year and between 3 and 4 million are euthanized. They will never have the opportunity for a home. We need your help. Please contact your Congressman and urge them to support H.RES. 220 for a National Animal Rescue Day.
